Guess where I am going??

I got tickets to go see GEORGE STRAIT in concert!!! I am so EXCITED. I have been a life long fan of this gorgeous man!! I am making Brian go with me :) he is excited to go, but not as excited as me and Hollie are! Jake and Hollie got tickets to go with us. It is going to be the BEST CONCERT EVER!! Can't wait!

Family Weekend Get Together.....

We had my side of the family up this last weekend for some fun. We were lucky to have EVERYONE here, yay, it was so much fun!

We had a weekend full of good food, relaxing, soaking up the sun rays, shotgun shooting, golfing, playing in the sandbox, jumping on the trampoline, riding 4 wheelers and any other motorized toy we have, and enjoying each others company.
Thank you all for coming, we sure love spending time with you all!!
Here are some pictures I took on Sat:
We all sat in the drive way and was able to watch everything that was going on.

Here are 5 out of 8 grandkids. I think the kids had the best time, and we loved watching them play!
Here is Ashton and Jacob.

And here are more pics from Sat.....

....shotguns and golfing....

The guys and Afton (way to go Afton!!) had a really fun time shooting clay pigeons. They all did really good, but, I think Jedd came out the best. This was his first time ever shooting, and he sure did awesome, the best shooter there!!
We decided to sit and cheer them all on.

Then, they decided to do some golfing. I have a pretty talented family!
Looking good KYLIE!!

....more golfing.....

They even got Brian to try golfing out, but if you notice in the pic below, he was in his 'own' game, far away from the actual 'hole' they were golfing to. haha
Good form Tay!
Micheal chipping (I think that is what it is called :)
Ash even got a try it out.

....bubbles and lots of play time for the kids!

Here are Hailey, Jackson, and Jocelyn going for a ride in the Gator. We also had 4 other 4 wheelers getting rode (I forgot to take some pics). The Gator was perfect for the little ones to ride around in.
Of course Brian had to get in a little roping, Jacob and Zachary thought it looked pretty fun. They both did really good, they might become little cowboys!
Uncle Bubby (Micheal) and Afton bought all of the kids some bubbles to play with, this was a hit!!

We had such a FUN weekend, THANK YOU everyone for coming!! Sorry to all those with the bad sunburnt cheeks and arms! Ashton and Branson think we need to do this every weekend, they are pretty tired, but sure had a ton of fun!

Building Fence

We spent all of our weekend working on some fence. We are trying to fence off some pasture for the horses this summer. We went Friday and got a big load of railroad ties, and spent Saturday and Sunday working on digging the holes and setting the ties.
Most of the holes were rocky and hard, so I hauled water to each hole and had them soak, after a little bit, Brian came back and dug them out more.

The boys loved this! They think working this hard is always fun!

When the weather is this nice, we like to spend all day outside. We worked on more fences, caught all of the horses, brushed them down, and gave them all grain, and just played around. Lovin' the weather!!
Branson likes to share his bucket of grain with the horses, he loves to snack on it too!

Ashton loves to play around with his puppy.

The Easter Bunny Came to our House

We sure had a fun Easter this year. Ash was so excited that he woke up at 6am!! I was way too tired to even open my eyes at that time, so he had to patiently watch some cartoons till Branson woke up at 7:30. They were so excited to find their baskets. The Easter Bunny needs to be more sneakier....Ash found his basket instantly, and Branson found his shortly after dad gave him a few clues. Ashton got a Leapster 2 with a Finding Nemo game. Branson got Mickey Mouse books and a coloring laptop set.

Easter Party at Grandma's

Grandma planned a fun easter party last week for the kids. They decorated eggs.....

decorated easter buckets.....
and went on an egg hunt. The kids had so much fun! And grandma did most of this by herself, while me, Jerilyn and Kylie all went shopping! Thanks grandma, the kids loved every minute of it!!

Meet Burley

We got a new dog! We decided to name her Burley. The boys picked up the new puppy while I was gone this last weekend. Ashton absolutely loves her, Branson still isn't too sure about her. She is a pure bred Blue Heeler. Brian wanted a true cowboy dog, so the blue heeler was the way to go. We have heard people say that the blue heeler is the smartest dog, and she is already proving that. He brought her in our laundry room the first night and she proved to us that she was 'potty trained'. She woke Brian up 3 times during the night, barking, wanting to go out and do her thing. Yay! She is so little still that we are keeping her in the garage for awhile, till she can get bigger and get ready to play with Waterloo. The puppy stage isn't my fav, but she is so cute, that I am dealing with it! Ashton wants to be out in the garage most of the day, I wish it was nicer weather to send them all outside to run around....soon enough!

We all sure love our new puppy!

Cheering Taylor On

Yesterday, we went to cheer Taylor on at his Track meet. He is throwing the Shot Put this year, and is doing really well with it. We weren't able to stay for the final throw, we were just able to watch him practice, from what we saw, we thought he did GREAT!
I think I embarrassed Tay with taking so many pictures, but how can you pass it up??

Good job Tay, we were glad that we were able to come watch!

Wobby's Weekend

I had a pretty fun weekend!
First, I started out going to a baby shower for a life long friend, Elisha, held at her parents beautiful home in Kaysville. It was so fun to catch up on life with Elisha. I am so happy for her, and the way her life has turned out. She is living in the beautiful town of St. George, lucky her!! Her baby boy is due pretty soon, and she is just glowing with excitement! Thank you for inviting me to your shower, I had a wonderful time! I am so happy for you and Jason, and am looking forward to hearing the exciting news of the arrival of the baby!!
Then, I headed to RC Willey to pick out a couch, found 2 that I really loved, just gotta have Brian make the final decision. Picture will come, hopefully soon :)

After doing some more shopping, I headed to my mom's house in Bountiful to have a night full of fun with my mom and sister in laws. We decided to go to dinner and then to the Desert Star theatre to see a play, can't remember the name, but it was the spoof off of American Idol. We had such a fun time, except for the part that they pulled me and my sis in law Holli up on stage and embarrassed us to death! Afton, was so in trouble, she chose center stage front row seats, and I had a feeling we were in the wrong seats, and sure enough they got us, not sure why they didn't choose Afton and my mom...??... I guess they had the good luck for the night :) It was fun anyways! After the play, they did an audience participation time, and I was actually okay with going up on stage, they embarrased a lot more people worse than what me and Holli got, so it could have been worse :) Thank you Afton for planning our fun night out. I need these nights every so often, so I don't feel like a 'wobby' all of the time! We missed you Kylie and Jerilyn, hopefully next time we can get all of us together!!
I had a very fun weekend, but I sure missed my boys!
