Picture Day

SUCH GOOD LOOKIN BOYS!

Concert in the Park

While Brian was gone out of town for work, Wobby and the boys decided to head down and go see Grandma & Grandpa for the weekend. They decided to take us to their park for a concert. The band was singing beach boy type songs. Kinda old school for me, but my parents loved it :)

Thanks G&G for letting us come spend the weekend with ya!

Is My Ear Going To Fall Off??

Branson came home from his second day of school and asked (really really concerned)

'WOBBY! Is my ear going to fall off??!?'

I guess the class was in P.E. and he accidentally got hit in the ear by a ball, and thought forsure he was going to loose his ear.....poor little guy! He told me that it felt 'loosened'.

First Day of School

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!

Branson started Kindergarten. So sad for Wobby!! I can't believe my baby is in school!! He was super super nervous, but was so brave and did so well!! Wobby had to keep herself busy all morning long, I think I was just as nervous as the kids were!
Tough boy Ashton started 2nd grade this year. He has been ready for school to start for awhile, he was ready to see all of his buddies again! He was just a little bit nervous, but kept up the tough guy act all morning.

All ready to go!

....they both did so good! Love their teachers and all of their friends!

Brans and his best friend Talon right after their first day of Kindergarten:

We all were ready for school, kids were starting to get bored and end up fighting most of the day.

THANK GOODNESS FOR SCHOOL!

Saturday Night Rodeo

This year, Ashton & Branson were ready to try out some sheep riding and steer riding. We missed out on this for the last couple of years, and so the boys have been talking about this for quite some time. We were able to sign them up to perform in the Saturday Night Rodeo, and invited some family up to cheer them on.

TOUGH COWBOYS!

We even got Libby to come play with us!

Brans scoping out the sheep:

The family that came to cheer on our cowboys:

Libs was able to see some horses up close and personal. She wasn't too sure on what was going on, but enjoyed getting passed around to everyone.

Grandpa & Grandma Parker were able to come see our cowboys too:

Branson, had gotten TOO nervous while waiting his turn to ride his sheep, so he said 'I just decided not to ride.'

Ashton rode his steer so good! He was able to hold on for 2 good jumps and then lost his balance and fell off.

WAY TO GO TO BOTH OUR COWBOY'S!!

We're thinking next year we are going to practice up a little bit more, and try and win that buckle!!

Family Fun Rodeo

On Thursday night, they have a family fun rodeo. They do fun things like: cow hide race, wild cow milking, wild cow riding, roping fun, etc. They also do some fun things for the kids too: sheep chase, 4 wheeler barrels, candy catch. This was such a fun night!
Ashton & Branson with some of their buddies:

Helicopter candy drop for the kids:

I wasn't able to get a picture because it got too dark, but Ash rode his 4 wheeler around the barrels in the arena for an event. He would have won, but missed going around one of the barrels wrong. GOOD JOB ASH!

FUN TIMES! Next year, Brian has got a list of things he wants to sign up for.....were excited!

Last Stop: Grandma's House

Our last stop on our fun summer days with cousins was Grandma's house. The last week before school starts we usually play with Grandma and have a fun day at her house. We started the day off with making a special countdown till Uncle Taylor comes home.

Each of the kids had lots of chains to staple together (we are a little bit early to start the countdown, but that okay, were all pretty exctied to have Taylor home :)

Libby & Tate enjoying the fun too.

100 days!

Grandma & Grandpa's special end of summer picture:

And were going to miss our Libs!!

So sad to see our summer ending! We have had such a fun time getting together every week with our cousins!!

Malad Roping

IT'S FAIR WEEK IN OUR LITTLE TOWN!

How did we miss out on all of this FAIR fun for the last 2 years?!? Every night they put on an event over at the fairgrounds. Our week started out with the Malad Roping. Brian was pretty excited to rope again!

Ash getting a turn to warm up his horse, Copenhagen.

MY GOOD LOOKIN COWBOYS!

Branson's turn to warm up Copenhagen.

We were there till 1am!! I had both boys asleep on my lap in the grand stands. :) Brian had a lot of fun, didn't win....but, hey, at least he got to play a little bit.

In fact, our bishop won the roping, pretty cool!

BEAR LAKE

This trip was SUPPOSED to be in Lake Powell.....I guess that one will happen next year :)

We were able to make a weekend get away to Bear Lake instead. Our trip turned out SO MUCH FUN! Such great company! Thank you Grandma & Grandpa for letting us use your membership to Camperworld! IT WAS GREAT!!

We got there Friday afternoon with Brady & Crissy. Jake & Hollie weren't able to come till Saturday. When we got to Bear Lake, we went and set up camp, and then headed straight to the lake for some fun.

Brian and Ashton always make deals, this one was for Ashton to jump in the lake, and Brian would do a back flip off the boat. Brian did his back flip and Ashton promised he would jump in later :)

Brady & Crissy's awesome boat:

Brady & Crissy brought their ISLAND for the kids to play on. This thing is so much fun! The kids LOVED IT!

Me & my Jossie girl

ASH JUMPED IN!
