The Circus

We went to the circus this last weekend in Salt Lake. We were pretty impressed with the show, and we all had a very fun time! We ate lots of popcorn and peanuts!
Grandma, Hailey, and Branson.
The Elephants were all our favorite to watch. Such HUGE animals, kinda ugly, but pretty neat to see!
The Tigers, pretty amazing that they could train them to do all sorts of jumping and sitting tricks.

The circus was definetely fun! I think we will try and go again next year!

It's Halloween Time!

I have been exicted to decorate for Halloween this year, since last year we were renting and I hadn't pulled out all this fun stuff. The boys were just as excited as me, and love turning on the lights when it gets dark enough to see them.

And here is my latest project I have been working on, a vinyl wall clock. It was pretty fun, especially since I could choose exactly how big I wanted it.

The Duke

Meet our newest member of our Horse Family...DUKE. Brian found him on KSL, and couldn't pass him up. He is a pony, but still big enough for me to ride too. He is SO gentle, another Donkey! Ash was even picking up his front feet and playing around with them. Ashton was such a cowboy.... got right on him, took control, and was so very confident....I was so proud of him! This is the perfect horse for our boys, going to get them confident fast!
Duke even sat so still, letting Branson have a turn.

Such a good brother!
Almost tall enough to saddle Duke himself.

After we loaded him up in the trailer to take him home, Brian said we needed a name for him before we got back home. Ash thought about it for a minute, and Brian said, 'we need a real cowboy name for him' and Ash quicly said 'how about Duke?!?'....you can't get more cowboy than that! (The Duke: John Wayne)

Duke is going to be apart of our family for a LONG time!

GARY ALLAN

We went to Wendover this last weekend with Jake and Hollie to see Gary Allan. We had SO MUCH FUN! We always have a blast with these guys! We had lots of fun playing in the casinos, and LOVED the concert!
Me and Hollie all ready for the concert, we were SO excited!

Thanks for going with us Jake & Hollie, we love you guys!

Gifts from Oklahoma

Brian just got home from Oklahoma, (we missed him TONS), and he brought gifts galore! He does this, so it gives the kids something to look forward to, instead of being sad he's gone, they are excited to see what he gets them and asks him everyday he is gone, what he bought them, makes the time fly by a little faster for them.
Ash got a camo bb gun with a scope
and
Branson got a green dart gun
Brian also brought home LOTS of balloons for them to use to 'practice' shooting.

We went through 50 balloons in 2 days! They sure had fun with these guns!
He also surprised Wobby with....FLOWERS!! MY FAVORITE! He also brought me home a cinnabon from the airport, MMMM!

WE LOVE YOU DAD!!

Grandma came to play

Ashton and Branson LOVE having visitors up to Malad, they have been begging Grandma to come up and stay with them, so she found a good week and headed up. She came up with a bunch of fun crafts to do with them, and they had so much fun doing all of them.
These are ghosts you hang outside and they blow in the wind, such a cute idea! They made 2 boy ghosts and a girl ghost for Wobby.
Here they are working hard with all of the projects Grandma brought up.
Thank you for coming up Grandma, we had such a fun time with you, and the boys miss you already! WE LOVE YOU!

Last Stop: The Hogle Zoo

Our last stop for the summer was The Hogle Zoo. We went on a beautiful Sept day, meaning that it wasn't too hot....good choice! The kids were all so excited to go and had such a fun time!
Here they all are in front of the Camel's
Branson's favorite: the oo oo aa aa's (monkeys)
The baby elephant, SO CUTE!
Ash watching the Rhino's
Baby Giraffe

This is how we saw Hailey & Branson for most of the day, they have so much fun together!

Getting ready for Hunting Season

Saturday night we decided to head out on our 4 wheelers and try to see the buck deer down at the creek bottom, we have heard there are a few bucks down here, we have already seen all of the doe. We were too early to spot to buck......
so we hopped in the truck and headed up the canyon next to our house (about 5 miles away).
We seen a few of these.....

..... and seen LOTS of these!
Ashton is very excited this year, he finally gets to go hunting with dad! They watch the hunting shows all weekend long, and go out and try to spot deer as much as they can.

Hangin with Dad

Most times when Brian is playing on KSL, Branson will go get this computer and he will play on it too.
BUDDIES!
