Essay Winner

We got a phone call one day and got told that Ashton needs to come pick up his money at the County office because he was the Police Officer Essay Winner for the 3rd Grade.
I asked him if he had any idea that he won last school year, and he said 'NO!'
What a fun surprise!
Good job Ash, you amaze us everyday!

New Mailbox Stand

Along with re doing Branson's room, he thought he needed a stand for his mailbox.  So we put Grandpa to the task of coming up with something for him.
And it is PERFECT!
THANKS GRANDPA!!

Peeking Outside

Elsee has found the window.  She loves to watch the horses and dogs outside.  And watches for Daddy all day long.  Whatever she sees out there she says....AH DUH, AH DUH, AH DUH

Lego City

On our lazy summer days, the boys decided to pull out all of their legos and put them all together.  It kept them busy all week.

Sunday Afternoon Nap

10 MONTHS

Elsee is growing up on us, and we don't like it!
She is on the move all day long, walking along furniture, climbing the stairs, and crawls like a pro.
She still isn't eating anything, gets her pickiness from her older brother.
We have found out that she isn't very good at sharing with other kids, but that's our fault because we spoil her rotten, and we like it that way :)
She is starting to figure out Daddy means FUN.  He takes her outside and she loves that.
She says....AH-DUH to everything.
And she still has her blue blue eyes :)

FRIENDS

Ash & Brans ask every weekend to have friends over, and usually we are so busy and have lots going on that we say no.  But on those weekends that we just stay home, we will have some friends over.  Addler & Daniel are such good boys, they are fun to have over.
And they are all such cowboys, they decided to spend their day roping and riding.
SO SO glad that my boys have such good friends!

SUMMER FUN: A Day At The Park

We decided to make the day easy and relaxing by just going to the park today.  Grandpa came later with lunch, PIZZA!
Grandma played kick and catch the ball with the kids.
 Elsee LOVED the slide.
Libby talked HER boys into helping her make cakes.
Kylie & Seton hanging out in the shade.

4th of July

Watching the parade. We get the same spot every year, and the boys love this spot, because they get so much candy thrown here to them.
One float was even throwing popsicles out, Elsee tried it and loved it.
We didn't have anything going on at home, so we decided to head over to the park and let the kids play for a little bit.  Ashton found this dunking machine and was addicted!  It cost $1 for 3 throws, and he spent about $30 trying to win this big puppy dog for Elsee.  If he got 3 dunks in a row he would win it.  He came so so close, but never made it.  When this boy gets something on his mind, he is determined to make it happen.  We told him we would try again later that night, but by the time we made it back over, it was done for the day.
Branson got to play on the bounce houses all afternoon, but it was so hot that he didn't last too long playing on them.
And Elsee crashed....
We took a break at home and then headed back to the park for The Malad Idol
and then finished off the night with watching fireworks with Jaycee.
We love the 4th of July here in Malad.

HO HO HO

These pieces are from our Mr. Potato Head set, this boy thinks up everything!

STAIRS

Elsee has been so determined to make it up the stairs to play and we have always just tried to distract her away from them.  But, she wasn't having any of it, she would have the stairs....and only the stairs on her brain.
So....we gave up and let her try it out.
AND SHE MADE IT UP ALL BY HERSELF
Look how happy she is!
Waving BYE BYE to the boys.
This is where we find Elsee most of the time...when we can't find her downstairs :)

CUCUMBERS

Not only is this little girl allergic to everything, she is also very very picky.
So when we find a food that she can eat and is willing to eat, it is OH HAPPY DAY!
And now that we have finally figured out her allergies, her face is looking so much better!

Poor Ash

Hate being sick in the Summer!
