Brian's New Hobby

Brian had decided to try out a new hobby this winter. He got an idea off the internet and ran with it. And he did an AWESOME job!!This man of mine is quite talented!!

Saturday Fun

Ashton & Branson look forward to their Saturdays. They know this is the day to play with DAD. They were able to talk Brian into playing in the snow with them.They love getting whipped around on the tube by the 3 wheeler.These are the Saturdays we love the most!

Family Night

For Family Night, the boys get to choose a family game to play. Monopoly is one of their favorites, and Wobby & Dad's least favorites :)

100th Day at School

Branson celebrated his 100's day at school. They were divided into 7 groups and went to different stations to learn how many different times they can use 100 doing different activities.

And to end the 100 day off right, Branson chose to pick up a Subway sandwich for lunch. (His most favorite thing to eat)

Only 46 school days left of Kindergarten.

MONSTER JAM

Monster Jam usually makes its way to Salt Lake every year around Valentine's Day. We have wanted to start making this a family Valentine's Day present every year, but haven't been able to go the last 2 years because either someone has been sick or Dad has been out of town. This year, the boys were determined to be healthy and Dad to be in town, so they wouldn't miss out on all the fun this show brings.

We decided to try out the 'Pit Pass' that goes on 2 hrs before the show starts. This was fun, but probably a one time deal, got to be a little crowded with people, and once you walked around to see all of the trucks, there wasn't much else to do. We got up close and personal with all of the monster trucks.

We each chose a truck to cheer on for the night,

Dad chose 'Grave Digger':

And Brans was all for 'Maximum Destruction':

Branson & Wobby's car going head to head......Brans' Maximum Destruction was the winner.

So glad we have made this a Valentine's Tradition, we all have so much fun!

It's a SURPRISE

We decided to surprise the boys and take them to a hotel with a water park inside. We kept it a secret all week long and teased them till they went crazy. Here is their reaction once they finally found out what their secret had been:

We barely had time to find our room, get bags up and settled, and they started begging to go start swimming. So down we went to swim for the night.

Brian tried out the tube slide first, he said it was fun, but really dark inside that you didn't know what way you were going. We had told the kids about it, and they both decided to not try it out, and just play with everything else.

After Branson thinking and thinking about going down the tube slide, he finally decided he was ready to try it out (such a brave little guy)

AND HE LOVED IT!

Loved it so much, that he had to go down and down it one right after another. Wish he would have tried it out sooner, then he would have had lots more time to play on it.

After over 3 hrs of swimming Ash & Brans decided they were DONE with water and wanted to head up and eat dinner. We ordered some pizza and relaxed the rest of the night.
