A NEW BEGINNING

I made the boys take a 'first day of school picture' so now I'm making Brian take a
FIRST DAY OF NEW JOB
picture:
(Which so happens to be cowboy day at school for the boys, which I will post later.)
It was such a fun morning having him home, a little crazy....we've got to figure out shower schedules and breakfast times, but that will come shortly.  We are going to love seeing Daddy in the mornings and seeing him home earlier....a lot earlier, which is something we will have to figure out too....homework time.  BUT, these are good adjustments that we will be making!
CHEERS TO OUR NEW BEGINNING!

Having Some Branson Time

Dad & Ash went to help our neighbor out today, so I told Branson that we would have a fun day just Wobby, Brans, and Elsee.  His request was to make brownies and play all day long.
I think he was most excited to lick the fork and bowl.
And we got all ready for his class Halloween Party.
It's fun to have one on one time with each of the kids!

While In Logan...

We decided to stop and check out the new Sportsman's Warehouse.  Ash found exactly what he wanted to spend his birthday money that Gma and Gpa Parker gave him:
A new Mossy Oak Sweater and some ammo for his shotgun.
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!!

Be Just Like Brother

Elsee loves to be with her brothers, wherever they are she will be right there by them, usually driving them crazy :)
She also loves to go upstairs with the boys, whenever they are home she always finds a way to get them to go upstairs and play with her.
 Brans & Else playing 'FISHING'
They are the best of friends, I always listen from the bottom of the stairs to them just a giggling and having fun together.

GOODBYE

We are making a big change!
Brian has gotten a job offer that is too good to turn down.  After much praying and fasting, lots of pros and cons lists, lots of thinking and discussing.  We have decided to accept the job offer.  As excited as we are for our future, it is always hard to say goodbye.  Brian has been with the DGRC for 11 years and has really enjoyed his job.  He has been a WG-11 Electrician, traveled most of the United States, and has learned so much about locomotives and generators.  He has gotten certified to operate cranes, licensed to drive locomotives, and gotten his CDL.  He is SO good at his job, he is the man to call when the others can't figure things out, and has so much knowledge, that it is really hard to leave.  He will definetely miss this job and miss the friendships that he has made....BUT.....we know that it is time to leave this and start a new chapter in our life.
SO
GOODBYE DGRC
GOODBYE LONG COMMUTE
GOODBYE LONG HOURS
GOODBYE GOVERNMENT CONTROL
GOODBYE 4 AM MORNINGS and 6 PM NIGHTS and 8 PM BEDTIME

WE ARE SO EXCITED!!
We thought a celebration was in order!  We headed off to Logan to go to dinner, kids chose Pizza Pie Cafe.
We are looking forward to slowing life down and enjoying much more family time!
OUR FUTURE IS LOOKING GREAT!

Getting Ready For Cold Days Ahead

The days and nights are turning colder, and its time to start thinking about using our wood burning stove.  Love the heat off of the wood stove....hate hauling the wood.
But, its got to get done before snow fall.  Every weekend, we try to get a few loads, so we don't get burned out on it.
So glad that the boys are older and are such good helpers!  Wobby and Elsee are in charge of the brake pedal, while these boys haul and load the wood.
Bring on the COLD!

Silly Baby

While playing at Grandma's house, Elsee spotted the doll stroller, crawled right in, and yelled at Ashton to push her around.  All while holding onto the baby doll.

BRANSON

....OH THE THINGS ASHTON MAKES BRANSON DO....

PJ 'A-R' Party

School Birthday Treat

Since Ashton's birthday was on a Sunday this year, he got to celebrate at school the next day.
He chose ice cream sandwiches to take in to his class.
And they were a hit, everyone loved them!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASH!

Sacrament Talk

Branson was asked to give his primary talk in Sacrament Meeting for the Primary Program.  He was one nervous little guy, and made Wobby promise to go up with him.
He did so good!  Didn't need any help at all.
He is glad to have it over with :)

Ash Turns Double Digits

I remember the day this guy was born, such a special day for us!  And I also remember how excited he was to turn 5....one whole hand.  And I also remember thinking how far away the day would be when he would be turning 2 whole hands (10).
That day is here, and it came FAST!
This boy is such a wonderful kid!  We are so blessed to have him!  He has the kindest spirit and keeps us on the right path.
HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY ASHTON!
Ashton's birthday landed on a Sunday this year, and we are always in a hurry to get to church on time, so we had planned to have the birthday celebration start after church.  But, Dad couldn't wait for one specific present, so he let Ash open up just one :)
 Birthday Dinner:
Kylie's Famous Crockpot Lasagna
 Birthday Bundle:
*20 gauge Shotgun
*Shells
*Clay Pigeons
*Shotgun Case
*Bed
 Time to blow out candles.
Wobby asked Ashton over and over what his most favorite treat is, something he could blow out candles on, all he could come up with was
POPCORN
so we made that work :)
We are a 'POPCORN LOVING FAMILY'
This bowl doesn't last long
So good of the birthday boy to share with little sis.
 Birthday picture with Wobby
Happy Happy Birthday Ash!
We are so so greatful to have you apart of our family.  Your such a big helper and you have such a loving heart.  You are a very special boy!
WE LOVE YOU!!

Grandma & Grandpa's Fall Party

Starting the party off at the pumpkin patch.
Grandma & Grandpa let the kids choose any pumpkin that they want, only one stipulation...they have to be able to carry it themselves. :)
Time to head to Grandma's house and play.

Trick Or Treating around Gma's house, the kids went from the house, to up the street, to across the street, to Grandpa's shop, etc.
 Pumpkins all lit up:

We love you!
