Our Cali Trip

Brian was able to volunteer and get a trip for work to go to California for a week and a half. We pulled some strings and made it work that we were able to go with him. This made for a perfect opportunity to go to Disneyland! But with this trip, we had to drive, and drive lots. But, it made for some fun memories! Here are Brian's favorite 'CO-PILOTS':

The first day was the longest drive for the whole trip (9 hrs), this is what Ash thought of it all:
Brans found some time to do this:
Wobby spent $20 at the dollar store and found some very fun things for the boys to do on our drives. They also got plenty of time to watch movies and snack:

Staying in Hotels

Throughout our whole trip we stayed in 5 different hotels: Reno, Concord, Anaheim, Barstow, and Mesquite. With Brian's work paying for the hotels, we were able to get fancy, fancy rooms in all of the towns we stayed in. We felt pretty spoiled!
While Brian was at work, Wobby had to come up with some fun things for the boys to do. Here they are working on 'homework':

Playing basketball and volleyball outside:
Wobby of course 'tried' to catch up on some much needed sun:

And they played and played:

With California being so hot, we spent a lot of the time SWIMMING. Ashton begged and begged to do this every night after Brian got back from work, most nights he won.
Trying out their new arm floaties
Jumping in to dad:

By the end of the trip, we got Ashton to jump in all by himself, we figured out that our kids are a little behind in their swimming, need to work on this one!

Weekend at DISNEYLAND

The weekend begins! Waiting for the shuttle bus:

Mickey Mouse, Branson's favorite:

We were too late to get a picture with the kids and Woody and Jesse, so we took this quick one from a distance:

Thanks to Cheri and Jason for this GENIOUS idea to take a stroller, we'd much rather push than carry these two the whole weekend!

Such a fun, fun time! We love Disneyland!
